Three unique activations designed to engage Formula E visitors in the world of electric racing — using VR, gaming, and physical play to give visitors an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of electric racing.
				Brief
The challenge was to create a set of experiences that captured the innovation and energy of Formula E in a way that was engaging, accessible, and fun for all visitors. The aim was to connect with the technology, speed, and strategy of electric racing, while ensuring the experiences were memorable, shareable, and educational.
Our Approach
We set out to capture the excitement of Formula E through VR, gamification, and physical play. Each activation explored a different side of electric racing — from car design to battery power and race strategy. Each element was carefully prototyped and tested to perform seamlessly in high-energy event spaces.
Our goal was to turn the technology and strategy of electric racing into pure, interactive excitement.
Our Solution
The final installation delivered three activations: a VR car design challenge where visitors created and shared their own Formula E vehicle; a Cycle to Charge interactive that demonstrated battery charging through physical effort; and a Race Strategy game that tested reactions with animated race scenarios. Together, these experiences gave visitors a thrilling, hands-on introduction to the world of electric racing, blending fun with insight into the technology that powers Formula E.
